Proximity Systems is announcing a new modular concept for its wall-mounted retractable workstations at the 2010 HIMSS Conference & Exhibition. The new modular units enable hospitals and clinics to purchase one type of workstation, and add to it in the future, as the facility adjusts to new technologies and needs, without purchasing entirely new workstations.
“Due to budget constraints, hospitals are increasingly looking for ways to extend product life cycles and delay costs,” said Jeremy Goza, director of Business Development, Proximity Systems. “The ability to buy modular pieces is appealing because customers can add what they need, when they need it.”
The modular concept allows facility planners to mix and match three components of Proximity Systems workstations to fit their needs today, knowing they can add pieces later when changing hardware or adding functionality.
